Wondering what the heck I've been up to?
I know I have been a bit silent lately and for good reason. I was feeling a bit scattered and unfocused and I felt that my own creative path was getting to rusty and obsolete.
So I took a much needed BREAK!
Took small incremental breaks from social media - I just have to turn this off every once in awhile. It takes away from my focus and creativity.
Took a break from Creating and teaching courses - I love doing this but I needed a break - I needed to focus on my own growth and BE the STUDENT for a bit.
Spent more time at my Easel - I have been spending most of this time working on my craft - my own body of work that I can be proud of and show the world who I am and what I am capable of.
So yes I took a break and it was AMAZING!!!
Here Is just a few things currently on my easel:
I am so excited about these - as you see I have been focusing on me! My self portrait has been my muse. I have worked hard, studied hard and explored so much. I have cried, laughed, almost gave up and stumbled a bunch of times. In the end it has all been worth the struggle and fight. I am so proud of ME!!!
And, the work has bloomed into opportunity! My work is being represented in a gallery, I have been published and have had several commissions!

So yes, I took a break to allow myself to grow, finally bloom!
